Just a quick update on what I’ve been doing lately. This last week was the opening of the Melbourne international motor show. LINK
I had delivered my commission almost two weeks ahead of schedule and was keen to hear feedback on how everything looked. Just after five on Friday I got a call from the company saying the origami flowers looked great. They were so popular some had been stolen. And could i possibly fold more for Sunday the order was 20 for Sunday and another 30 for Tuesday. This sounded good to me tracking down paper and getting everything folded in time.
About 10pm Saturday night i got another call. “can you get all 50 done by Sunday ? we have a TV spot Sunday night and can’t have flowers missing.”
The project was delivered on time (all 50) and another 20 or should be delivered on Tuesday.
If you see them at the show please don’t take them home.
Here are a few photos of the project and the security guard protecting them.
